Assignment Editor - Immediate opening for experienced newsperson to maintain coverage of the news assignment desk for television business and financial news program. Must be able to coordinate reporters, photographers, satellite/fiber feeds and direct other resources in the coverage of stories. Must be a self-starter who can develop story ideas, break stories, arrange newsmaker interviews and coordinate commentator appearances on the broadcast. College degree with major coursework in mass communications, journalism, economics or equivalent work experience. Business/economic background preferred. Send resume/salary requirements.

Building Maintenance Assistant - Immediate opening for someone to maintain all aspects of our buildings, grounds and related structures, including landscaping, painting and housekeeping. High school graduate or equivalent required. Valid FL driver’s license with clean record preferred.

Director, Development - WPBT2 seeks an experienced fundraiser with a minimum of five years experience in the area of fund development with demonstrated success in prospecting, cultivation, and solicitation of large gifts. Must be comfortable in various socioeconomic settings and have experience in the areas of management, major donor funding, foundation funding and planned giving. Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business management, fund raising or public relations required.

Director of Membership - WPBT 2, South Florida’s community-licensed public television station seeks an innovative professional to lead our Membership Program. Significant experience as a non-profit fundraising manager required, preferably with a PBS Station. CLICK HERE FOR FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Mail Service Assistant II - WPBT2 seeks individual to prepare items for shipment, mailroom equipment operation, sort mail and act as back-up for other positions. Class D drivers license with clean driving record required. Ability to lift 70 pounds and prior experience with mail equipment preferred.

Maintenance Engineer - Immediate opening for an individual to maintain and repair complex television equipment. Familiarity with LAN systems and computer configuration a plus. Two to five years experience maintaining television equipment required.

Marketing/Auction Supervisor - Innovative and creative individual with experience in telephone and direct mail solicitation needed to coordinate Channel 2’s annual on-air auction. Will coordinate all activities leading up to the on-air auction, including solicitation of local items to be auctioned through direct mail and phone solicitation. Works closely with production to produce the on-air element of the live broadcast. Two years fundraising experience, preferably with a PBS station. Familiarity with ACT, Excel and Microsoft Access and knowledge of word processing fundamentals desirable.

Telephone Fundraisers - Excellent opportunity for motivated individual to join our fundraising staff. Will make outbound calls to members and potential members. Must be enthusiastic with excellent communication skills. Evening afternoon & weekend hours available. Salary + commission.
